We are seeking a Senior Fabricator to join our talented team and contribute to our growing projects.
Job Description:
As the Senior Fabricator, you will play a vital role in bringing our design team’s visions to life. You will lead fabrication efforts, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive fabrication efforts for custom and semi-custom cabinetry, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Operate and maintain fabrication tools such as table saws, routers, sanders, and other manual or power equipment used in cabinetry production.
Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure that all projects meet design specifications.
Mentor junior fabricators and assist with training on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all cabinetry projects meet company standards for craftsmanship.
Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges as they arise.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with the shop foreman and other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
Ensure that all materials, including veneer, hardwoods, specialty hardware, and construction elements, are handled with precision and care.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in cabinetry or woodworking production, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction methods, tools, and materials, including veneer, hardwoods, specialty hardware, and expert joinery techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and other departments.
Proficient in safety protocols and procedures within a shop environment.
